Samsung Galaxy LTE smartwatch — cellular-independent. Passive vitals: heart rate, SpO₂, temperature, sleep, steps, AFib, self-confirmed med adherence. SpO₂ readings run on the same Samsung algorithm and underlying data used in Samsung's FDA-cleared sleep apnea detection feature. Fleet-managed via Samsung Knox — kiosk lock, remote software updates, and carrier switching — so devices can be deactivated and reassigned to new subscribers rather than replaced.
AI & alerting
Annie, the AI virtual nurse, reviews readings by voice; HealthAlertâ„¢ flags any out-of-range vital in real time to the registered caregiver.
Platform layer
The HealthAssist platform functions as a Medical Device Data System (MDDS) — it transports, stores, and displays the device's readings without altering or interpreting them. Structured data, transcripts, and alert logs map to RPM/RTM CPT codes (99453–99458, 98975–98981) and route to caregiver, EHR, or care-management tooling.
